My chest is killing me!

I have been feeling actually pretty good lately and was happy cause it has been a few months since I have felt pretty good. This morning I was coughing up my usual brown mucus and it had blood in it. Not streaks more like blobs but not pure blood either. Then later today my chest starting to really hurt on my left side but not like a sharp pain or shooting pain but this sharp ache. Now my whole upper chest just kills. It feels like really, really sore and like I swallowed 5 gallons of chlorine water. What is going on? Could an infection or pleurisy happen this fassst? Any ideas? Suggestions?

Yes. Call your doctor. He or she will likely want to evaluate you - listen to your lungs, check your HR, BP, O2 sats, do a culture... what do you usually do when you have these symptoms?

No one can diagnose from symptoms on the internet.
