An online baby shower, you guys would do that for me?????!!!!! That would be absolutely exciting!!!!

We aren't going to register anywhere yet until we get a + pregnancy test, but for those who are interested, I will post it on here if that's ok with everyone. I don't want to just be like, "here's our registry..." because I don't expect anything from anyone . It has been so hard NOT to register though, I keep seeing baby clothes eveywhere I go, I'm like, "can't we just buy 1 outfit?"

I actually got my first baby gift yesterday from someone who has turned in to a GREAT friend through all of this IVF. We met online, this site I believe (can't keep track anymore) and her IVF story is on my website (under success, Zach and Tara Jordan www.jordanshome.com). Anyways, she had some left over stuff I needed and she wasn't going to use so she sent it to me and when I opened up the box I found these dainty, beautiful pink socks. She did her IVF last year this time and gave birth to a boy in October. A friend of her's had bought her the pink socks before they started the IVF for good luck. Since they had a boy and clearly never used them, she passed them onto me as "goodluck booties".

If we are successful I will just pass them onto someone else (even if we have a girl). But I was SO excited to see them, it was funny, I started crying, then laughing, then I called my mom, dad, Mark's parents, Mark... to tell them we had recieved our first gift. It was hillarious.

Went in today for blood work only this AM and then got called back in 5 hours later for a "traial transfer" (how much am I paying you??? you know it's a 1 hour drive to you EACH WAY right??? ). I started my first day in my new department today so I felt really bad asking them if I could leave, but they seemed ok with it so I pray that they are.

The retrieval is tomorrow AM and Mark also gets aspirated (so please keep him in mind too-any men out there , and the ladies too).
I'll probably not be on tomorrow but will post on Saturday after the office calls me to tell me how many fertilized.

Thanks everyone for all the support, I LOVE this "family"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHEN we get that positive pregnancy test

I told my mom about the "online babyshower", she thought it was so adorable. Maybe we'll finally have a big group in that chat room that never seems to get used

You are all so sweet and wonderful, thanks so very very much for all of the support!

I went in for my ultrasound this morning, I have 14 follicles on my right side and 10 on the left. Almost all of them are the size that the doctors want before they retrieve them, 16-18mm. The doctor was impressed, said I was responding very good to the medications. They cut my dose in 1/2 2 days ago becuse my estradiol was at 1091 and had jumped to that number from 288 just 2 days earlier (no wonder I am so emotional ).

So, the doctor said they might give me my HCG injection (to trigger to release the eggs) tonight instead of tomorrow. Which means we will have the retrieval on Friday instead of Saturday, which means we will have the transfer a day earlier and that ultimately means (I am such a dork) that we will do our pregnancy test a day earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited!! Just wanted to keep everyone posted!

ARe you on fertility drugs?

Yes I am.

I hope this isn't rude but can I ask who you are? I'm more than happy to answer any questions at any time, I just kind of like to know who I am talking to and if there is a purpose why they are asking.

Congratulations Julie!! Jeremy is my husband 30 w/cf and he has the aspiration done in June of 2002 and then we had the IVF in July of 2002...our twin boys are now going to be 3 on February 25th!! Please tell Mark that Jeremy said other than being sore for a couple of days it's not too bad at all and well worth it for what you get in return!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you....we have definitely been there!! LeAndra A.
