my feeeding tube sucks

My new tube i had put in friday sucks. they replaced my owld peg with a long tube. i have to have it taped to keep from hanging down. it constantly gets caught in my shirt, it hurts, and i cant fish with it...so i got pissed this morning and called the doctor. i told him this thing is not working and i wanted a Mic-key tube...he said he never heard of it and that it would take him a few days to look into it or find some one that uses them...does anyone here live in orlando and has a mic-key..if so who do you see. I need help bad with this.

I will try to help.....I use to live in Orlando. Can you call the adult care center there and ask one of the nurses if they can recommend someone? I think one of the pediatric CF providers would know who to send you to. When I was there, it was Dr. Livingston. He's a great guy and his office may know of someone. You also may call the CF pharmacy on Colonial. They have a clinic there and probably know what docs in town can do that. I hope you get this resolved.

I went to him for 5 years and after being put in the hospital and having numerous problems with him, I decided I was NEVER going back to him! I think the pediatric CF doctors are good but the Adult one, Dr. Layish, is non caring, lazy, unattentive, idiot! I now go to see Dr. Rolfe at TGH in Tampa. If nothing works out for you in Orlando, go see Dr. Rolfe! He is the best and so is his staff and the hospital! I never had a tube put in but I trust the doctors way more at TGH for everything!
