well i honestly think that when someone dies with the same disease we have it hurts more and even if we dont know them we still have sympathy like no other because we can relate.
today i found out that one of my REALLLY good friends with cystic fibrosis lost her fight with it this morning.
i feel absolutely horrible and of course i cried and its going to be a really rough day for me today.
the weird thing is i basically had a breakdown yesterday with my boyfriend and started crying because i know how much he loves me and it scares me because i know one day im going to leave him and possibly sooner than later.
i cant help but feel remorse and whatnot.
i feel like he could do better because of this but he always tells me im the best.
i know i cant cheat myself out of life so i always try to think positively.
and i do want a baby when im married because thats probably one of the most amazing things to me is to bring life to someone and impact their life.
death is a scary thing but i know when i do go.
ill have left an amazing and hopefully lasting mark on the world.
all i can say is that each person with c.f. has touched my life and has made me stronger and stronger.
its so sad to see someone so amazing die from this but we have to look at this in a positive way.
they are in a better place and we learn to care for ourselves a bit better because of the loss.
