Thankyou everybody for your input, a couple of you have reminded me to start taking Azithro again, it is finally fully funded in NZ whereas i used to have to pay hundreds of dollars for it myself!! Took my first one this morning!
Michelle - i will look into the Quinine thing, thankyou.
Jeana - no inhaled aztreonam here yet i'm sure but i will keep and eye out for it, sounds good!
Zara - I will try to find the article on-line that assisted me to flick my immune response - basically take loads of garlic, loads of fish oil and either smoke dope all day every day or never, no in between (just in case any CFer actually touches it!!!). No problem. Just wanted to reinforce the fact that PH balance is the biggie. Quinine is just one tool. I don't recommend using it in high doses, long term. Though I do know someone who began consuming tonic water for the quinine when they had to stop taking Zithro. They are reporting good results (though quinine is not the only thing they are doing) And, yes, they have mucoid PA.

Though I do know someone who began consuming tonic water for the quinine when they had to stop taking Zithro. They are reporting good results (though quinine is not the only thing they are doing) And, yes, they have mucoid PA.
