My friend with CF...

Speaking from experience, I have to add that it is not necessarily important that your friend be completely open and honest with you about her CF. As much as that is hard to hear. As Piper mentioned, she is probably feeling a million emotions right now and being probed is not what she needs, and it may isolate her even more. The same with questioning her about how and when she takes her medication. The best thing you can do is let her talk when and if she is ready, and other than that, just keep being a great friend!
