Yes-Col Pres has a great rep. No mistake-I love my doctor and staff. But when it comes to the facility-well, let me put it this way, when I walk into the x-ray dept of St. V's and its delapidation-I have dreams of Col Pres! lol.
There's no doubt I want Dr. W to remain my doctor. I just feel really uneasy about being without a hospital that knows Cf to check into if I needed it.
I knew that a doc from LIC came over to us, but I didn't know who-Elizabeth, I really feel for you. Just know that the center itself is great-wherever they move to, they will be great for you. Transitioning is hard.
On a side note-people in nyc keep revolting bc of demolishing or renovating some of the hospital buildings-saying they are too historical. Well, obviously if you've set foot in some of the areas of this hospital-omg, its like a war field hospital in there. Its completely below standard-every aspect of old, outdated, filthy, unhealthy, its disgusting. Funny how the yuppies get together to protest things when I bet they've never had the misfourtune to be a patient here-they prob never set foot in the building.
