I been doing great feeling fine..well i was deprived my pulmozyme for two weeks because medicare decided they werent going to cover two boxes a month because its to expensive?..so cause i was short of the medicene i was without for two weeks..i then start it back up started running the fevers and feeling like flu cause thats how i always get and then this time though my lung colapses..ive never had this and it was scary i thought i was going to die..i told the ambulance people when they showed up as i was laid out on the floor wearing oxygen..i have cystic fibrosis please dont let me die ..so it was shown only a 1/3 of my lung was working so i was heavy sedated and had a tube put in..iv never had this and its sore but im being given morphine shots..
Im beig transferred to my cf hospital tomorow as im at a local hospital that dont have cf docs..and it was only last wednesday i was told it was necesary to start evaluation for transplant because i was doing good and then this happens..prety crazy but anyone feel free to share your experiences <3
