I'm walking on sunshine! Whoa! Whoa! I'm walking on sunshine! Whoa! Whoa!

In terms of insulin demand, it's amazing what happened when I went from 12.5mgs to 10mgs. My insulin went down to almost nothing.

If they (they meaning the powers that be) lower me one more time, I think I'll be done with the finger pricking, leg jabbing, micro blood donations I give every meal.

God Bless America! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Yeah....it's quite a shift in thinking. Getting better? Not worse? WTF? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I was watching Rocky IV when I said God Bless America. I was inspired. I'm also a dork.

Piper...good luck with the bronch! I love that feeling when the anesthesia goes in....night-night time. I told Dr. Wilt last month, as the drugs began to take effect, "I'm going to Tahiti now. Do I still need sunblock?"

In hindsight...maybe I shouldn't make her laugh moments before she sticks a tube down my windpipe. Hmm....

That's great Lex! I'm at 10 mgs as well and don't use as much insulin. But I was insulin dependent before my transplant so I know I'll be forever taking insulin but less is always good! I like going under too, its a weird feeling but I always get a nice power nap from it all

wow....you got your lungs in April and were already on 10? I'm jealous <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Balancing these meds is tricky.....but beats CF lungs any day of the week (and twice on sunday).

I got tx'd June 23rd and I am on 10mg. I was also on Lantus, 5mg, a day pretx for borderline diabetes, so my insulin usage has, oddly enough, not changed that much...unfortunately. In fact if the keeps up, I thinking about going with a pump.
