No, you do NOT need to have the same mutations for your child to end up with CF. http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Where_to_begin.html You have a 25% change of having a child with CF.

Not to nit pick it's a 1 in 16 chance for double recessive, but that's college lvl bio, at least if I remember right, genes generally will not pick a double recessive or dominant for a reason I can't remember off the top of my head something with either egg/sperm combination or an evolution thing.
