I never bothered with NAC because i read about all of that 3 and a half years ago and i figured.... rather than take something to make the body produce something it cant use correctly, i decided to take what it needs directly.... which is the GSH. Made a noticeable difference for me .

I didn't read all the links above, I will, but from what I've always read its more effective to take the building blocks of Glutathione, and let your body turn it into that on its own, and send it where it needs it.

Whats funny is, I've taken NAC for 3 years. I never knew of a study, or what Warwick said about it. My naturopath told me. So there you go, eveyone that doesn't believe in natural remedies! They've said nac for years-now doctors are saying it. That's great, I hope it helps some people.
The other thing to remember is sometimes these supplements take longer to show results than meds. You have to be patient. I don't think its any cure, but every little bit that helps!

that's funny that you mention that , Christian.

It did take about 2-3 weeks for me to notice the effective of the NAC. does that sound about right?

I've been taking Mucomyst in different forms since I was diagnosed,
I love it. I used to take 2-3 tablets in water a day, and it worked
pretty good along with the nebs. Then I asked my doctor if I could
up the dose, a lot, and he said sure, why not. Now I use probably
3000-5000mg a day, and almost never any nebs, and still feel good,
and fewer and fewer infections. And they taste like orange pop,
bubbles and all! Didn't really know that it had much effect apart
from loosening up all the crap in my lungs, but it sure does
explain a lot.
