Amy, what did they say the cost was for the NAC and shipping. Have u ever thought about getting your GSH levels tested to see where they r at. We did GSH almost 18 months ago for about 2 months, I did not see any negitve side effects, nor did I see any benefit, but not sure at this point if it would be noticible with his good health. It is an expensive treatment not covered by insurance, by reading some of the articles I have, I do think there is a cellular conection to GSH and CF. I would consider starting him back on a daily regimine, but first I want to see what his GSH levels are and retest after being on NAC.

you can check on the website, lori. but i think it's around $7.

I think you probably didnt' see bennies from GSH #1 because GSH isn't as readily absorbed by the body and #2 you did it for only 2 months. I have a feeling it takes a few months more than that to reach full effect.

I haven't considered getting my GSH levels tested...

My boyfriend just left for Salzburg today - I'm going to see if he can get it cheaper when he's home.

update - my boyfriend has just returned to Europe with NAC and Magnesium. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

But I got another vicious cold as many of you know and it didn't go into my chest. I have a feeling it's because I'm taking 1200mg of NAC a day and that glutathione is helping my body protect itself. My prayers probably didn't hurt either <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks for the update and I will look forward to hearing how you feel these supplements work for you. I do hope your cold clears up quickly without it going to your chest and I am keeping your friend Chris in my prayers<img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">
