Great news for the 4% of us that actually have the mutation that this new drug treats. :)

"There were 161 people in the trial ages 12 years and older with a specific gene mutation known as G551D-CFTR, which affects 4 percent of the cystic fibrosis population. "

Thanks for posting - He's also my doctor too!!

It sound very promising for those with the specific genes - here's hoping it'll be able to be expanded to treat others!
