Nebs in the car

Is it safe to do nebs in the car/while driving? I do not have a portable compressor but I do have a power converter that I plug into the cigarette lighter and it works great with other electronics... I would hate to damage my compressor though, and I'm no expert on electronics. Has anybody else tried this? It could save SO much time.

We've done it. And I know a couple people who've added some inverters and actually have their kids vest while traveling. Think Amy noexcuses has blogged about it.

I use to have a compressor that actually came with a power cord that plugged into a cigarette lighter. Maybe that would be an option for you?

I had gotten an outlet strip that plugged into the cig lighter and I did it always as a passenger tho while driving. It's great!

Thanks for the replies! I think I'll give it a try. It would give me a good 45 minutes of extra sleep in the morning, and it's already nearly an hour commute to school and work, and an hour the other direction to my clinic, and those seem to be the only places I go on a regular basis lately.

I did it twice a day when I worked! I think it's totally safe as long as you fill the cups and have everything going before you take off or while you are stuck at a red light or something.
