I do Pulmozyme once a day every night all the time. I do Colistin twice a day (morning and night) every day during February, April, June, August, October, and December. And I do hypertonic saline twice a day (morning and night) every day during January, March, May, July, September, and November.

So all in all, I do three nebs a day every day. Saline or Colistin in the morning (depending on the month) and a Pulmozyme and saline or Colistin in the evening.

I do Pulmozyme, HTS, Xopenex and, when I need it, an inhaled antibiotic twice a day. Plus my vest twice a day. I am hooked up one way or another for at least 1 1/2 hours, twice a day=3 hrs a day. Because I can breathe so much better when I do. And this is from someone who never did a neb until I was 21 years old (at 80%PFT- now I am at 47% and steady for the last 3 years with all these new meds added in, and rigorous compliance).

JazzysMom is right- and struggling to breathe because you either weren't prescribed them (in my case) or weren't compliant in doing them when you were healthier is no fun either. We know what we've got to do to stay as healthy as possible- it's a such small price to pay .

I do albuterol when I first get up and then do albuterol and a pulmozyme treatment before I go to bed.

I've never heard of the one you're asking about, Tantie. Hopefully someone will have some info for you.
