This is interesting that you guys are talking about inhaled colistin. I was just taken off the IV form of it because it made my lips and tongue and hands numb (some freak side-effect). Now my doctor wants to try the inhaled formed...do you think I'll have the same effects? or has anyone else had these types of effects? Can you use it in the e-flow (my new best friend?).

that is so weird that you say that about the coly. I get the same side effect from IV colymycin my lips tongue and hands got numb and tingly it was so bad i couldn't stand it so they finally took me off and said i can go back to the inhaled. And with that I get no side effects so you should be fine with it.
