I start Tapping the Neb when it get low
<br /> So I can get as mush of the med as I can..
<br /> I remember when I was young my Mother would
<br /> Flick it with Her finger to make me take it all.

<br /> As it forms a mist it will cling to the sides.
<br /> Flick it to get them to puddle up so it can be Nebbed.

HI Chelsea, we do nebs then CPT also, like the others have said the abuterol will open up the airways. I also flick the cup towards the end to make it run down from the sides - it really works. It usually takes around 15 minutes for this treatment. How many times a day are you doing it? We are doing it once at the moment. How did you go with Matt's sweat test?

We also shake the cup a little when sputtering and it lets out a little more, then we turn it off. Our 4 mo old takes albuterol first, then sodium chloride, then chest PT, and then finally her Pulmozyme. This was the order the doctor said to do. In the hospital we were just told to hold the little turtle mask in front of her face...didn't have to be on her face, so some escaping I do not see to be a problem at all. Hope this helps! We are working on cleaning them out!
