Hi:

What compressor and nebulizer cup are you currently using...The LC Sprint by pari is supposed to nebulize faster but I dont think so...I inhale HTS and Amikacin.

To speed things up while inhaling my friend and I do simple excercises. arm curls ...squats...they make you breathe deeper and then you are done faster. evn just making circles with one or two arms...and I hold cup with my teeth....arm curl with a lite weight tho is best.

a few years back i needed a loaner compressor while my pari proneb was in for repair. The company gave me a DeVilbiss Pulmomate....it put out alot of mist and was faster...I googled it and it is still available...the next time I need a new compressor I will get that one...I still used the Pari lC Plus and or Star neb cups though. Actually I did want to order it but the company I use only had Pari Pro Neb Compressors and it would have taken over a week

to come in.....they seem to push Pari products alot....but I think the DeVilbiss is a better compressor.

I think you need to look into anew compressor.
No matter what you are nebbing it should go a bit faster than that,,

I tried the Pari pronebs, 2 of them lost power in less than 2 months.

I have 2 DeVilbiss 5650's they have always giving me a strong neb,

Hi Nicki,

Tobi in the Pari neb generally takes about 25 minutes - that's normal. The only other option that I know of is to switch to tobramycin using the eFlow machine. That takes approximately 5 minutes. For me, the tobramycin in the eFlow works much better than Tobi.

I would also suggest looking into the eflow. I know some people do Tobi in one, but I haven't really looked into it.

My doctor gave me the option of choosing between Tobi and Cayston. I do Cayston because it comes with an eflow and takes two minutes, three times a day. The only thing is you have to wash the cup right after finishing, so that adds on a few extra minutes. It's still way faster than Tobi in a Pari cup.

I like my Mobilaire. Like someone said for Tobi its under 20 minutes, right around 16-18 minutes at 25 psi. The cool thing is you can adjust the psi. For drugs like duoneb and pulmozyme you can crank it up to 50 psi if you wish and get them done in less then 5 minutes each. For Tobi you suppose to keep it at 25 psi.
