The frontal sinuses are very close to the brain, eyes and optic nerves. Your visual symptoms would worry the crap out of me. I once had a peri-orbital cellulitis after a sinus surgery, and when I developed swelling and pain I also had some visual symptoms (double vision). I was hospitalized immediately. This isn't something you want to screw with. Hopefully it's not serious, but if it is and you let it go too far, you could be looking at a range of complications which are not limited to infection that could affect your eyes or brain. I wouldn't rest easy until I had an MRI.

If it were me, I would go to the emergency department where you are normally admitted and have them do a work up.

Doesn't matter, many times the swelling from the infection only makes an impact when you turn your eyes a certain way. That was the case with me. I didn't realize I had the double vision in the affected eye until I was examined. I would not mess around with this.
