DS did that with applesauce -- HATED it, but did well with pureed bananas. I've used chocolate syrup, grape jelly, pancake syrup.... Have you placed an enzyme capsule in her mouth and followed it with a drink of something.

Do you think she dislikes babyfood? When DS turned 6 months, his CF doctor told us to just grind up whatever we're eating -- babyfood is low in fat and salt, so he'd be better off eating regular food. So his daycare just ground up everything finally, we'd grind up some of our food, but he actually preferred baby food, so we doctored it up -- added salt and butter. Maybe she just wants something with more FLAVOR <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Good luck. Feeding has go to be the most frustrating part for us. Yesterday we spent most of the holiday with relatives -- DS drank milk for breakfast, ate a handful of cheetos and life cereal, followed by a banana and half a dozen goldish crackers -- that's IT. He wasn't hungry, he was full! Toddlers Argh!

When I was younger my parents used applesauce. They also used grape jelly and ice cream.

She is probably too young for peanut butter...allergies and choking issues. Try real "people food". You can grind it up with a food processor, etc. My son with Cf would still eat baby food at that age but my daughter (no CF) just stopped eating it and wanted what we were eating. Find something she likes and put the enzymes in it. When my son refused the applesauce (he was older though) we just put it in apple juice in a spoon and he ate (or I guess actually drank) it that way.

I had this problem with Kiana for a few days and what worked for me was dipping my finger in applesauce (clean hands of course) and the putting the enzymes on my finger tip and then putting a bit more applesauce (so they were coated) and then my finger in her mouth.

I know, probably not the best way but it worked for the few days she refused and it was the ONLY way I could get it into her. I guess you could put it on a soother and have her suck that as well....
