Well for me I drink scandi shakes. They are shakes that are made for CF. They are high in calories and pretty easy to drink. You should ask your doc about those. For me I couldn't keep weight on so I had to get a g-tube put in, but I glad I have it, it's so much easier than forcing yourslef to eat. I want to be back to 115 which is what I used to weigh. I am 100 right now after droppin down to 88 so hopefully I will get it back on soon. I hope you get to 150!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

I drink lots of resource or ensure plus, these are drinks given to anorexics or people suffering from malnutrition. If you cant get a hold of these, the weight gain powders bopdy builders use are full of calories but you have to make sure you get a weight gainer and not a standard protien powder. Eat lots of cakes and very creamy/fatty foods. Chips and mars bars etc, you just have to eat a lot.

Scandishakes work well for me too. I used to be 125 and by shooting for 3000 calories/day I've hit 140. I have two recommendations for how to get those 3000 calories:

1. ask your doctor about megase (a steroid that was KEY in increasing my appetite)
2. another supplement I've recently learned about is benecalorie. 330 calories in 1.5 ounces - I add it to shakes and even my scandishake. They're not cheap but I think worth it if you really want to gain weight.

If you go the scandishake route be sure to ask your doctor how to get them free if you use Ultrase enzymes.
