Need help writing a letter

I am working on writing a letter about Disability Advocates For Cystic Fibrosis that I am mailing to all the accredited CF centers in the US.

The main purpose of this letter is to let them know that assistance is available for their patiens who are starting the Social Security Disability process (I will be including about 15 business cards in each letter) and would like help/guidance with the process, or who want help in appealing a denial.

I would also like to mention on there that this is a non-profit organization and we welcome donations. However, I want to make sure I am very tactful about it. Is there someone who is really good a writing who might be willing to assist me with this?

Thank you

Hi, i'm sort of new (posted once before), but I am a writer and have worked with non-profits writing grants in the past, so I would be willing to give you feedback, and/or help you draft something. I am 28, female, with CF & CFRD, not that it matters too much in this context, but fyi. Also, I have applied to SSDI in the past year and my case is currently pending. Since this is your forte, do you know of any way to push a case forward? They seem to just be sitting on it. You may pm me and I will give you my email address if you want my help, since that is the best mode of communication for me.

Piper gave me a lot of great suggestions, I'm actually using what she wrote for me pretty much word for word.

HOwever, I'm at a loss as to how to address the letter. It's mainly addressed to CF clinic staff, but if they wish to, I would love for them to make copies of the letter to give to patients. So I was thinking something like,

Dear Cystic Fibrosis Center Staff and Patients,

What do you think?

As far as pushing through, can you send me an email? services@dafcf.org I'd be happy to talk to you more about this.
