That sinus drainage is probably what's causing most of the problems. It will definitely upset a stomach, and decrease an appetite. I would encourage fluids, because that will help keep things moving. I hope she feels better, and that it is something she can kick quickly.

Ditto everyone... My daughter has had the same thing for about a week so we...

increased the Vest to 4 times a day
4 sinus rinses a day
OJ & water
Peppermint oil in bath/shower
ZINC,ZINC,ZINC
a little Vick's under her nose at bedtime
and rest

After about 2 days she is great with a couple dry coughs her & there!

Does she have any allergies? I have two with CF and they both have a ton of allergies it is allergy season. Allergies would give her a headache and the drainage would upset her stomache. And give her a cough. Before my kids were put on their allergy meds they were tired and had little energy. Just a suggestion of something to possibly look into.

Ok, what I dont get is she is not showing signs of allergies. I wish I could chalk it up to that. She isnt coughing much but in the moring and she really doesnt have any nasal drainage except in the back of her throat. Today is much worse for her. She has now slept almost 4 days. Dont get me wrong, she wakes up but then falls asleep again. Im not kidding when I say she cant pin point her symptoms. She will get very tired just walking the stairs. That could be from dehydration too. She isnt eating and I am forcing the water when she is awake.

Is there some kind of bacteria or something that could be in her lungs that doesnt show the normal symptoms like coughing ect...?????? I know I am stretching things but come on..somethings got to give. Like I said before, she see's her CF doc on Tues of next week. Could there be a blood test they can do here to test for what is going on???? And how can the test if she doesnt have common symptoms???? Im starting to get really worried about her. She is normally a very bubbly girl and always busy. She has missed and entire week of basketball and school to boot. I am taking her back to her primary tomorrow and just insist they test her for EVERYTHING!!!

Frustrated and scared <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
