I put a couple of ounces of rubbing alcohol in my NeilMed Bottle after every use (which is twice a day for me). I swish it around and squirt it through the straw so every part of it gets cleaned. I dont use tap water/soap because the bubbles in the soap were just very sudsy and hard to get out of the bottle. With the alcohol, the bottle is dry by the next time I use it (once in the AM and once before bed).
I also noticed on the bottle that it should be changed every 90 days. I had one that I used for probably 6 months, thinking it was like the nebs, but the new bottle I just got said three months.
