Amy, you may need to just keep practicing to find your "groove." Took me a little while to figure out the positioning of my head and everything to keep it from going down my throat. <br><br>Also, if I can't get it to come out the other side, that usually means that I need to try the other side to unblock something. That usually works. <br><br>
I figured out that I have to hold my mouth open but hold my breath in order to keep it from going down my throat. Good luck!

Awesome thanks guys!! I am going to keep trying it for a few days and hope that I am just REALLY REALLY blocked! If in a week I can't get anything through I may try a different one.
I do keep my mouth open but maybe too much?

Same issue! I can rarely get it to flow out the other side. It just ends up choking me or comes poring out the same side. I've tried various methods, techniques and its still pretty rare for it to come flowing out the other side
I can't decide if I'm doing it wrong or my sinuses are that bad or polyps are too big.
