Our cat that we have now was 2 years old when we got him. We usually get kittens. He growled, hissed & slapped (with clawless paws) at our dog & hid from us for the longest time.

We have had him now for 5 years......we catch him sleeping with the dog tho he will still slap at her when she sniffs his butt (I dont blame him) & he is Jazmine's best friend. He is a lover, cuddler etc. He loves to be pet & pet & pet & pet, but dont touch his belly. He comes when he is called, but I doubt he knows his real name which is Buttons. We call him Kitty or Baby Boy......

What a pretty cat! I just had my two little boys neutered on Wed. of last week. Their names are Jasper and Leroy. They have two sisters, Roxie and Jade, who are going in very soon to get spayed. I'll have to get some pics posted on my blog soon.

My kids think that we can single handedly save the entire pet population, so if any strays show up in the neighborhood, they mysteriously end up at our house. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0"> I have put my foot down - hard! LOL I was able to find homes for 2 of the six that the momma cat had, but the remaining 4 are now part of the family, and of course, so is momma cat. The crazy part is that we already had two cats, so now we are the proud parents of 7 total. Yup, you read that correctly, 7 cats!! Oh well, more to love. I can tell you that there is never a time when I don't have at least one cat on my lap. LOL
