Thanks! Lol about the "Betta"- sorry! He's got his own little 2 gallon tank, so he's good ! I have a short finned female Betta in the "common" 55 gallon tank- I don't think Rooster's fins would last long in there .

Oh dear Shane- a friend of mine had Angelfish when she was a kid, and the biggest one ate all the little ones, and then she was afraid to feed the big one (sad, but lol), so...her results with fish were similar, but she was left fishless . My BIL has a Jack Dempsy- I was watching him terrorize his tank mates yesterday. I do miss my Oscars though.

He's beautiful! Jesse had several Bettas (probably 9)all named Pongee. Don't know where that name came from, but there couldn't be another name after that.

I knew that you meant a fish! lol.

He is a beautiful betta, Andee. Bettas are my favorite fish. I like the smoother fin kind. My last one was red and his name was Fred. We were moving and I had to put him in a Mason Jar until the tank could be put back up. I awoke one morning to find Fred missing. I walked around to the other side of the bar, in the kitchen. There was Fred, in the sink, on ice. I'm not sure how he got there. I'm not sure, but believe he commited suicide. It was tragic.

Thanks! This is the first Crowntail I've had- I did an internet search out of curiosity, and wow- I didn't know so many different varieties were out there!

Aww, RIP Fred...I've heard that happens a lot. Mine pretty much have always had lids, because of the cats , so the only suicide jumping fish I have had was an Oscar, but he survived (he woke me up in my bedroom flopping around in the den- he was kinda a big fish!).
