Should have my blog set up soon. How do all other mothers cope with cf without going mad with worry? Will it get any better with time? The not knowing is what drives me nuts, how about you? Hope you all enjoyed the easter holidays.

Some days are easier than others. When DS gets a cough, cold, fever... I'm a basketcase. A lot of times I just look at a photo of him smiling and it just cheers me up. And DH got me a computer photo frame for my birthday and loaded about 500 pictures in it and I JUST brought it to my office! So I'm feeling pretty happy -- whoops correction -- evil MIL photo just appeared. Wanna slap it/her!

Some days, like today, I obsess over this website and any and all kinds of information I can get. Other days it is better. Seems to always flare up after a cf doc visit (we had one last week) and now also with our Great Strides fund raising efforts (this is our first one).

Do you mean "the not knowing" in terms of the prognosis? I have come to terms with that and you will, too. Time does help, it really, really does.

My latest obsessions have to do with meds and treatments - making sure we are doing all of the right things.

Looking forward to your blog!

Welcome Liz, I'm new here too. But not new to CF. Some days, weeks will be better than others. Its not easy. I don't think the whole CF thing ever gets easy, but life does go on and you try to do your best to give your family a normal life, one day at a time. I too look forward to your blogs.

Liz, you know that I feel for you . . . I hope you will soon see that there are a lot of moms in the same positons as you. We are all in this together, groping our way through. That is the strange nature of this disease. We are working through it, and we all need each other--that is the fact of this site. We can all reach out to each other, and know that we are at some time or the other, in the same position of someone here. Isn't it good to know that there is someone here that is going through the same journey? I may be happy, or sad, but there is someone who knows why I am feeling . . . that is what we have here on this site---feelings. Glad you are here, Liz, please keep on talking . . .
