New blogs always in sidebar?

Are the new blog entries automatically entered into the sidebar or do the authors need to request that? I just want to know if I should check all the blogs for updates just in case or if the "latest blog posts" covers them all.

Only the newest 10 show up in the side Bar. So if 20 people post to their blog only the last 10 will show up. You should still go in and view the blogs you like to follow or you might miss a new posting.

Hey that's a good question anon! And thanks Steph - although that seems really obvious (that only 10 show up and to check blogs you follow) I didn't make the connection so thanks!

I have a new blog entry (been kinda tied up lately with hubby having spine surgery) - I'll keep an eye out to see how long it takes to show up.
