What are some of the best tricks you've found to prevent infection?</end quote></div>
Good question, but I don't know that there is an answer. Other than being germ conscious (washing hands a lot, purell, lysol wipes around the home and at restaurants...) you kind of just have to get to a place where you let them live a normal childhood -- germs and all. I don't let actively sick people come hang out with my daughter, but otherwise I just think that despite the fear you come to a place where you just have to live. I've yet to find a bubble big enough to put my daughter in it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
I should say though that keeping up with airway clearance and keeping good weight on your CFer are both helpful in keeping infection away. But know that even if you do it all right, it doesn't guarantee that you CFer won't have bouts of illness or hospitalizations.
