This is absolutely right as well. While I believe work needs to continue full-speed ahead on meds that can potentially correct the genetic defects that cause CF, if preventative measures and more effective treatments are not pursued just as much, where would we be if the genetic stuff proves too complex to pan out at this time? All facets of research need to be explored- CF is such a complex disease affecting so many parts of the body.
