New Vest Question

Was just helping DS get on his vest an noticed it looks like it needs to be washed. Me thinks he was snacking and vesting. Has anyone washed theirs yet?

I did a wipe down, but didn't throw it in the washer yet. I'm very curious to see how it goes.

I think she must have!! Our last visit she grew a lot and gained a smidge -- not really good for the bmi. But I'm not too worried about height getting away with her, I'm 5'1" on a really good day, my husaband is 5'8. Tall she will not be. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I handwashed my new style vest with Woolite. It came out nice and clean. It will be interesting to see how it washes in the machine. I was nervous about it falling apart after washing.

I know you can wash the Smart Vest. Not sure what kind you guys have. I know I asked the Incourage Vest lady that came out and she said "No washing...You will get mildew smell". So, instead of washing I'm to call and ask for a new one. Again, that's just what I was told about the Incourage Vest.

The new hill-rom vests come with a softer cover, which can be unsnapped from the vest "bladder" and washed. I just have to take a look at the washing instructions, which I think are listed inside the vest. DS was wearing his when I noticed how stained it was. Makes me wonder what lurks beneath the surface of the black vests we could never wash. ewww!
