The new hill-rom vests come with a softer cover, which can be unsnapped from the vest "bladder" and washed. I just have to take a look at the washing instructions, which I think are listed inside the vest. DS was wearing his when I noticed how stained it was. Makes me wonder what lurks beneath the surface of the black vests we could never wash. ewww!
