New vest without compressor?

There's now a new wearable airway clearance device from the G5 (percussor) people called the<a title="G5 FREEDOM" href="http://www.fisalesllc.com/g5_freedom" target="_blank">G5 FREEDOM</a>.
Wondering if anyone is using this and if so how it compares to older models in efficacy for airway clearance. (boyfriend has cf, would like a vest without bulky compressor, found this new one and wanted to see what people thought)

I have seen it and it looks interesting. I don't know anyone personally using it, though.

I saw that also. It looks really interesting. I have a GK 3 percussor that I love. I sometimes use in addition to or in place of the vest. I'm hoping maybe someone has some experience with the vest version but I have yet to hear of anybody using it. The idea of not having the compressor sounds great in theory but would need to know more about it.

I just called the company and they said it is 30 -45 days away from fda approval and shipping should be possible by late october. not sure on insurance reinbursements yet but did tell me that if a person purchased one early the price was $5995.00 shipping and handling and that was completely refundable if something happened with fda. the eight diferent areas can be operated at different speeds and such if a person needs more in one area. sounded really great and cant wait to discuss with Ashley Rains Dr.
