Interesting! I am also interested in the cost.
The site states they are creating children's models, which makes me wonder about how they handle the child's growth. Would a person need to purchase multiple vests over a lifetime?

Just called them. It will be released in the 4th quarter of this year.
The claim they will have final FDA approval for it in the next 60 days.
No word on the price, but you can call them and get added to their email list to keep you in the loop as things progress.

I sent an email to the company and it is $10,000. Wow! I pasted the email below:

We are excited to provide proven, reliable, effective G5 Directional-Stroking Percussion in a wearable appliance for airway clearance with 8 times the power of a standard G5 handheld percussor. I have been a part of many new product developments, but this one has to be the most exciting. The G5 FREEDOM has the potential to improve the quality of life for so many.
At this point, we are awaiting FDA clearance that we expect within 30 to 60 days. We have October, 2012 as our target month for first shipments. Our list price in the USA is slated to be $10,000. Shipping is included. We will be taking pre-orders at reduced prices for those that wish to be one of the first early adopters of the G5 FREEDOM. If you have such an interest, please let me know and we will send you a proposal to be an initial user. I am working on that introductory pricing this week.
While we expect to eventually have insurance reimbursement, we have no definitive timetable at this time. The process has been initiated, and as we make progress, we will keep you updated as appropriate.
