We found out my daughter has CF at 7 days old through Newborn Screening. Otherwise we would not know. She has trouble with diapers... lots of pooping. But don't most babies? So I would have never known there was an issue.

IMHO, the things your daughter is experiencing could be any number of different issues. It is way too early to worry about CF.

I was dx'd at 21. When I was little my pedi told my mom and dad that my symptoms were not severe enough to be CF....of course years later we learned how wrong that first dr was.

I had no weight gain trouble
Several Ear/Sinus infections (I got pharyngitis alot too)
Diagnosed with asthma and cronic bronchitis
At 16 had my gall bladder removed and dx'd with idiopathic pancreatitis

My nephew was diagnosed at age 4 right after my infant daughter's diagnosis. His main problem was constipation, so the drs overlooked cf. I never remember him coughing before he was diagnosed. It doesn't hurt to test, so make sure the drs order one!
