Hey everyone
If its the first time in New York,
What can be importent to see and do? I know its a lot to do but i going to be there only 1 week.

I am so glad you will be visiting NYC...

My personal favorite for the Overall tour is the Circle Line Boat tour.

This is beautiful weather to get the beltway tour of Manhattan without all the hassle of traffic. It gives an overall view while being relaxing.

Definitely I will tell you to visit the Scandinavian House:

which is just a short distance from Grand Central Terminal which is also a wonderful place to visit in midtown.

You may want to visit the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA)
The Norwegian artist Edvard Munch's The Storm is part of the permanent exhibit.

It is the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's first visit to New Amsterdam as NYC was first named. The Swedish followed shortly after and part of their original settlement is in Wilmington Delaware.
Sweet White may be able to tell you more about that! The oldest continually active Church in the US is a Swedish one (original building) in Wilmington..it is on my shortlist!

Well, you certainly can't be in NYC without being in Times Square in the evening. Touristy, yes, but amazing. My absolute favorite day...possibly ever...was a warm spring afternoon spent just walking, resting, lying on the grass in Central Park. I just can't capture the feeling of that. Really, it doesn't matter what you do. Just being there is enough for me. Oh, how long before I can go back?

DEF go to the top of the Empire State Building! I was amazed at the beauty and just the scope of what I could see. I was NOT scared...because there is such a huge fence around the edge. It was fantastic! I would also say try to check out Central Park...its cool there too and the kid in me LOVES FAO Schwartz, which is right near the park.
