I am so glad you will be visiting NYC...
My personal favorite for the Overall tour is the Circle Line Boat tour.

This is beautiful weather to get the beltway tour of Manhattan without all the hassle of traffic. It gives an overall view while being relaxing.
Definitely I will tell you to visit the Scandinavian House:

which is just a short distance from Grand Central Terminal which is also a wonderful place to visit in midtown.
You may want to visit the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA)
The Norwegian artist Edvard Munch's The Storm is part of the permanent exhibit.

It is the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's first visit to New Amsterdam as NYC was first named. The Swedish followed shortly after and part of their original settlement is in Wilmington Delaware.
Sweet White may be able to tell you more about that! The oldest continually active Church in the US is a Swedish one (original building) in Wilmington..it is on my shortlist!
Please Private Message me for more tour information. It really depends on your interests...museums, theater, ballet, music, shopping (uptown, downtown), history, art, gardens etc.
I wish you a wonderful visit and don't forget to bring our friend Marjolein! Hurry!
