Hi Ronnie, or can we nickname you "RT"? sounds like a cool name, eh? (the first letters to your username)
I'm not in my 20's anymore, but I still enjoy some of those typical "guy" things...cars, videogames...seems as we get older, our toys get more expensive, eh?!
Glad to see you decided to join us...there's a plethora of info here, and having one more to join in just adds a plethora of information to the plethora of information already here!

"RT" sounds good to me. Thats what a lot of people shorten my name to already. Thank you all for the warm welcome, its about my bed time though. I will be visiting often now that I am a member.

Just a question to those that have already replied, and those that havent yet....
How did you take it, the first time you saw the list of drugs that you were resistant to?
I had a really really tough time, because the morality of this disease slapped me in the face. My wife and my family helped me see through it and put things in perspective, but I was definately shaken up. How did you all take it???

I was surprised when I heard about the antibiotics becoming resistant to me. I also found it more surprising when I was told that drugs I've never taken were equally resistant, except any of the I.V. type drugs...it had me worried about going in for I.V.'s, but because it happened when I was 18, it didn't really phase me much more than that.
I hope in your case, there are still some out there that will take effect. Whatever the case, I hope you can find some answers here!
