Hello everyone

I'm a 30 year old CF male living in the North East of the UK. I have just stubbled on this site and have joined.

As i'm new to this I dont really know where the section is to ask you all advice, so I'll post it here and hope that someone can give me there views and points to where this post maybe should have been.

I'm reasonably healthy, with a good quality of life but for the past year I have been dealing with difficult emotions etc. However since around Oct/Nov 09 I have had a yellow
coating on my tongue. My CF team are stumped and have refered me to ENT (Ear Nose Throat) Dept, for a scraping to see whats growing.

My question is to you all have you experienced this or have any advice that might give me some comfort as its becoming a right pain in the a*!e.

I'm currently waiting for an appointment but I'd like some ideas now.

Yours Gratefuly

JB

Have they tested you for yeast? I think someone on this site recently had a similar issue, so hopefully they'll see your post.

Welcome to the site.

I was thinking thrush as well - I had it a few years back.
I was given a gel that was placed on the tongue and it cleared up (sorry I can't remember the name of it!) but if you ask your pharmacist they should know.
