Welcome! I think CF is very confusing at times, you look at your perfectly normal, gorgeous child and its hard to compute the CF being part of them. My daughter is three and a half, diagnosed at about 5 months. She has had her share of issues, but she is still incredibly normal, smart, beautiful and healthy looking.

(((HUGS))) I hope your son stays healthy for a very very long time.

my daughter is now 13 and doing really well. my advise would be to do treatments always, it is hard when they seem so healthy but you have to. i found that using squeeze cheese was a very easy way to give enzymes. you dont have to keep it cold or anything and easy to put in purse. alot easier than applesauce or babyfood.. keep your head up, he will be fine just do all that your suppose to b/c each treatment and medication is a stepping stone to the next one. keeping him healthy now means that the new things they come up with will work for him.

Hello. Thanks for your reply! We are going to an accredited CF center. I'm a little confused though. It's really a pediatric pulmonary center, but they are on the cff website. We so far have seen the pulmonary doctors (2), a dietician, 2 nurses, a nurse coordinator, and I think they have a psychologist available. Is this the norm?
