But I did see this on FB today:
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for Nicole Pisani Frame. Her sister says she is taking two steps in the right direction and then one back. Her CO2 levels were very high yesterday. She was also non-responsive because the dialysis is exhausting and she was still on a small amount of fentanyl. Nicole normally nebulizes DNase and she had not receive any since last Sunday. As soon as pulmozyme was administered her lungs were able to be suctioned and her co2 levels went down. They removed the fentanyl last night to check her responses. Her CO2 level went as high as 90 at one point which can risk brain trauma. She was able to respond to commands. Her sister says: "For everyone who asks what you can do, PRAY. You may think one little prayer from you is not working, but it is. We have been given grave news that Nicole did not look like she was going to pull through this 4 times.... and she has. Her Drs have even used the word miracle when speaking of the things she has overcome. She is still fighting and we are all continuing to fight with and for her. Thank you all for the support you are giving us."
