NO EPILEPSY!

We got back from the hospital yesterday. We were in for two days for Avery's EEG testing. We got word that she does not have epilepsy! Yeah! I don't know if we could have handled it if she did.

On a side note I am terrified that she will culture something after the visit. We were in a different part of the hospital that didn't know infection control guidelines. So needless to say I was constantly asking each person who entered our room to gown up and glove up! It was frustrating!

Good news about the epilepsy! Has Avery been having seizures? I don't want to worry you but still keep a close eye on Avery, my daughter had the 24 hour EEG testing and it came back that she did not have epilepsy, then 2 years later after 2 more grand mal seizures she was tested and it came back she had lots of abnormal brain activity for seizures. I asked how that could be and they said sometimes it doesn't show up. So I don't want to be a downer, but just keep that in the back of your mind because I had NO idea that it could show no epilepsy and she actaully did have it.
