No more 2nd Insurance

I have a 5 year old boy that has CF.I decided to stay home since he was born and has not work since. my husband is the only one that bring income home. We wore doing fine because we has Insurance and medicaid for my son so we did not had to pay for all his medications but today I got a phone call that he does not qualify for medicaid any more. I'm so scare because my sons meds are so expensive and have no idea how are we going to make it with out a second insurance. Does any one knows of any kind of help that we can get to pay for his meds. there are so many things that need to be pay and figure out on how are we going to manage everything that comes like all the times that he gets sick all the doctors visits, the labs and tests that have to get done. I'm so scare I need help. We have 3 kids one in college and one in High School and one in Kindergarten that has CF.

Talk to your CF social worker. There are a lot of programs out there, but its going to take work to get them all in place. For example genetech makes pulmozyme and they offer a program that will pay your copay.
