oh that is so great! It is such an issue that forces people to stay home and not feel as confident. So your surgery was sucessful...I've wondered how good the surgery was.

As a mum (but no cf), many of us experience the same problem, it is great to know that it has worked for you.

do you know if it is expected to be a permanent success? Do you have to do the kegel exercises etc.? Thank you for sharing this with the site.

I imagine years down the road with the continued coughing it would come back. No kegel exercises, but when I am peeing and cough, my pee stream stops. That hasn't happened in years. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> More questions, let me know.

when i cough or sneeze and i'm standing up i'll cross my legs to prevent anything. my mom told me that her friend had the surgery done when she was gutted out a few years ago. sorry for calling it gutting out, but i can't spell hyster...whatever lol. i actually went and looked on the tricare website to see if they would cover it and it didn't say anything about it.
