I agree, most things can be found in juice instead of syrup, its all around better for you and has like no sugar in it

aren't a bag of apples comprable to about 3 cans of fruit in price?

I think fresh is more economical than canned if you eat according to what is on sale or fall back to the cheap bags apples when there are no good deals on pears/bannanas or grapes.

Am I the only one?

Even when not on sale, banana's are usually only about 55 cents a pound. A can of fruit is usually 1-1.50 a can which is like 15 oz. Not sure about others here though, but banana's give me blood sugar crashes, so I need to eat something with them, and something shortly after too. You're right about the apples too, you can usually buy a bag fairly cheap.
