I would definitely suggest getting checked out by a reproductive endocrinologist. Being sick may not be the only reason you're not ovulating - or ovulating late. We put patients who don't ovulate "on time" or at all on Clomiphene Citrate for five days starting on day 5 (day 1 is the first day of full flow), dosing them depending on their diagnosis, past, age, etc. Also, it's important to know if your tubes are open...even if you are ovulating, if they are closed the egg does not have the opportunity to make it into the tubes (where it is fertilized by sperm) and down into the uterus.
