Nose bleed...symptom?

Are nosebleeds a symptom of cf? My 2 year old daughter had a nose bleed out of the blue yesterday. She doesn't really pick her nose (and no blood on fingers) I didn't see any scratches in or around her nose. she coughed up some bloody mucous, but i'm guessing it was from the blood running down her throat. Of course, every little thing I'm questioning whether it's another symptom or not. She's not diagnosed yet. Man, I hate living with the what if's!

I got the bleeding to stop and it started zbout 2 hours later and I got it stopped again. Our house isn't dry, but I guess that could be a possibility.

As a rule I havent heard of blood noses being a symptom of CF. UNLESS its from lack of Vitamin K which helps the blood clot & we usually lack Vitamin K.

It could be allergy related just as easily. My daughter (no CF) gets them out of the blue.

i dont get nose bleeds persay, but i do get blood in my nose. i mean like i dont drip blood uncontrollably, but if i blow my nose there will be blood sometimes... pretty often as of late.

Nose bleeds can also be from lack of iron. My son got 8 nose bleeds in one day for using flonase. I was told to use vasaline in his nose twice a day. Apply with a q-tip.
