Not about CF but you guys understand

I found out this afternoon that one of my best friends in the world passed away this morning. He just found out he had cancer a few weeks ago. It was so bad that he really had no time left. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye because he lived in another state and was in the hospital and on lots of pain medication since they found it. His wife left me a voice mail and I got it at work. My boss was great about it though and let me leave right away, and my wonderful boyfriend Brian came and brought me home. I knew that you guys would understand how I feel better than just about anyone. Thanks for listening, and if you are so inclined please pray for his wife and 4 kids.

It's hard when you don't get a chance to say goodbye. Think about what you would say if you had a minute with him right now. That may help you to say goodbye in your heart, and heal. Sorry you have to deal with this.

He's is God's hands now, and no one can take better care of us than Him.

I hope maybe a funeral or something of the type can assist in giving you some closure. Write him a letter, put it in a bottle and send it down river. He'll get it someday, someway, somehow.
