Not sure if I'm posting in right place

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the 65 Roses Story. I'm just wondering if the actual story is true or not. I know they use the name Mary Weiss in the story, but I didn't know if she was an actual person or if they just picked a name and used that story. Maybe somebody out there can shed some light on it for me.

I'm sending out fund-raising letters and I am enclosing a copy of that story. I've just always wondered if it was true or not. Thanks!!

Be sure you're including the actual 65 Roses (r) story in your
fund-raising letter, since that story is a registered trademark of
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I'm including a link to the story
on the CFF website <a href=
"http://www.cff.org/about_cystic_fibrosis/65_Roses/">here</a>.<br>
<br>
And yes, the story is true. If it's not then the foundation loses
all credibility for perpetuating an urban legend.

I did get the story from the CFF site, but thanks for the link. I have the little R-registered tradmark by it so they know I didn't make it up myself. I'd just always wondered if it was true; you never know anymore about things you read. Thanks!
