Shane, who is 39 months old, is finally starting to use the potty.
He was really resistant to training so we backed off (aside from
meddlesome comments from MIL). Well, about two weeks ago he started
to show interest, but was sick and had diarrhea. It totally threw
all of us off kilter. So this week he got better and decided he was
a big boy and wanted to try underwear. The first two days we had a
lot of wetting accidents and no poop. Now he's pretty darn good at
staying dry until he can get to the potty-5 whole days!! He's had
some poop accidents, but I think he is starting to want to do that,
too. Yay!!! I was beginning to believe him when he said he would go
on the potty when he was 16 or 54. Now, let's hope he doesn't
backslide when the baby is born in June. I'm hoping that since it
was his decision to use the potty *maybe* we won't have too much
trouble. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif" border="0"><br>
